Turnstile have shared a cover of The Stone Roses song “I Wanna Be Adored.”
The “NEVER ENOUGH” outfit put their spin on the Madchester classic during their performance on Australia’s triple j radio.
“I love this song, it’s one of my favorite songs of all time,” says frontman Brendan Yates. “It’s unconventional and simple and very, just, beautiful.”
Guitarist Meg Mills adds that the cover pays tribute to late Stone Roses bassist Gary “Mani” Mounfield, who died in 2025.
Turnstile also performed their song “SUNSHOWER” during their triple j appearance.
“SUNSHOWER” appears on Turnstile’s latest album, 2025’s NEVER ENOUGH, which won best rock album at the 2026 Grammys. The title track won best rock performance, while the cut “BIRDS” took home best metal performance.
