Denise Truscello/WireImageRicky Martin announced Wednesday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that he’ll be doing a Las Vegas residency. Now,we’ve got the details.
Ricky’s headlining residency will kick off April 5, 2017 at the new Park Theater at Monte Carlo. The show will be directed by Jamie King, who’s directed tours for Madonna, Britney Spears, Rihanna and Celine Dion. He worked with Ricky on 1999’s Livin’ La Vida Loca tour, as well as his 2007’s Black and White Tour.
In a statement, Ricky said, “I have been thinking about [a residency] for years and to see it become a reality is just an unbelievable feeling. I’ve dedicated my entire life to the stage, and there is nothing I want more than to create the best show of my career and make it an unforgettable experience for each person that comes to see me…I’m inspired, and I can’t wait to show you what we have in store.”
Ricky plans a show featuring current and past hits, as well as multiple costume changes. If you can’t get to Las Vegas, he’ll also be performing May 5 and 6 at The Theater at MGM National Harbor in Maryland. Tickets go on sale Monday for all dates, but fan club members will have access to a pre-sale on Thursday.

July: 1 and 2
September: 12, 15, 16, 19, 22 and 23
