Kevin Winter/Getty Images via ABCThe secret to a successful relationship? Puzzles, according to Meghan Trainor. The singer gushes to Entertainment Tonight about her boyfriend Daryl Sabara and his sweet five-month anniversary gift.
“We went out to dinner and we did puzzles because I love doing puzzles lately,” she says of how they celebrated the milestone. “He bought me three special cool puzzles that are, like, 3D and we spent the day just chilling. It was awesome.”
She admits she’s “in love” with the Spy Kids actor, and says she knew it almost immediately.
“It was pretty right away,” she says. “I’ve never been treated so nicely [by] a guy…he showed up to our second date with a rose in his hand and I was like, ‘Oh, you’re a movie, awesome.’ I was like, ‘You’re the one!'”
And the two don’t just work on puzzles together — they’ve collaborated on some music, too.
“I actually made him write some songs with me, so we’ve collaborated,” she tells ET. “He’s a musician. It’s fun to have someone that understands what you’re doing and he loves artists, so he loves getting to see the behind-the-scenes.”
