Image Group LA/ABCAlessia Cara makes her mark in sand in the video for the Moana track “How Far I’ll Go.” The clip features Alessia singing the Lin-Manuel Miranda-written song while combing designs into the sand on a rocky coastline.
“See the line where the sky meets the sea? It calls me/And no one knows, how far it goes/If the wind on my sail on the sea stays behind me/One day I’ll know/If I go there’s just no telling how far I’ll go,” Alessia sings.
“How Far I’ll Go” will be heard twice in Moana. Alessia’s version will play during the end credits, while the film’s star Auli’I Cravalho [AH-LEE-E CRAVALLO] will perform the song during the movie.
The Moana soundtrack will be available on November 18 and the film hits theaters November 23.
