Alasdair McLellanAustralians love Adele. The singer has added a second Sydney show to her first-ever Australian tour due to “phenomenal demand.”
The new show is scheduled for March 11, with tickets going on sale December 1.
The first Sydney show at ANZ Stadium is set to take place on March 10. According to Billboard, that show sold more than 90,000 tickets on Monday and is on track to break the venue’s attendance record for a concert. It could also break the record for the single biggest event held at the venue since 2002.
She’ll also be playing shows in Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide — plus three dates in New Zealand.
Total ticket sales for the Australia tour have surpassed 400,000 in less than a week on sale.
