ABC/Randy HolmesBack in the early 2000s, Mariah Carey seemingly dissed Jennifer Lopez with her infamous “I don’t know her” line. Now it appears she’s throwing the same shade on Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato.
During an appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live Sunday, host Andy Cohen roped the singer into playing a game of “Does! She! Know! Her!?” He presented her with a series of fellow pop singers, and Mariah admitted to having pleasant interactions with Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Britney Spears.
But when Andy asked if she knew Ariana, Mariah gave a cold, “No.” Andy added that he felt early in Ariana’s career she was paying homage to Mariah. “Did you feel that?” he asked. “Child, I don’t know when early in the career was,” Mariah responded.
Later in the show, Andy brought up how Demi Lovato criticized Mariah on Twitter for the way she treats J. Lo. Andy asked Mariah what she would say to Demi.
“I don’t know her either, and so I wouldn’t say anything to her,” she said. “She should come up, introduce herself to me, say, ‘Here’s my opinion. What do you think about it?’ That’s how you handle s***, okay?”
