ABC News already confirmed Monday that the 39-year-old rapper had been suffering from exhaustion and sleep deprivation, and went to the hospital voluntarily and under the consultation of his physician.

A psychiatric hold can be ordered by a court in order to hospitalize a person against their will if it’s determined they’re an immediate threat to themselves or others.

There’s still no public word about West’s condition, but the source further tells People they’re “super confident he’s going to pull through.”

Kanye’s hospitalization comes on the heels of days of erratic behavior, who ended a Saturday night show in Sacramento, CA after just two songs, following a lengthy, on-stage diatribe about politics and President Obama, Hillary Clinton, Mark Zuckerberg, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and longtime collaborator Jay Z

Sunday night, Kanye cancelled a concert at the Forum in Los Angeles just hours before it was scheduled to begin.  Then early Monday, he cancelled the remaining 21 dates of his Saint Pablo tour.
