Sacramento Fans Furious as Kanye West Storms Offstage After Two Songs

Kevin Winter/Getty ImagesThirty minutes into his concert in Sacramento, California on Saturday night, Kanye West stormed off stage and ended the show.

The Sacramento Bee reports that after two songs and 30 minutes, Kanye said, “Press, get ready to write your passive aggressive, LeBron James racist comments…get ready for a field day, press!  Get ready!….’cause the show is over!”  He then dropped the mic and left the stage.  Confused fans booed, while others expressed outrage that they paid hundreds of dollars for tickets and didn’t get a full show.

“I spent $250,” one fan told the paper. “I might be a fan of his music, but I’m not a fan of his character.”  According to the paper,  fans chanted “[Screw] Kanye!” in the streets.

The show, the latest on Kanye’s Saint Pablo tour, was supposed to start at 9 p.m., but according to the paper, the rapper didn’t get onstage until 10:30pm.  He performed two songs — “Famous” and “Good Morning” — before starting a rant slamming Jay Z, Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest, Google and Facebook.

He also took a shot at Hillary Clinton, saying, “This Saint Pablo tour is the most relevant [thing] happening. If your old ass keeps following old models, you’ll be Hillary Clinton.”

These remarks came just a few days after a show in San Jose where Kanye told fans that if he’d voted — which he didn’t — he would’ve chosen Donald Trump.
