The special, called Stephen Colbert’s Live Election Night Democracy’s Series Finale: Who’s Going to Clean Up This S***?, also will feature Jeff Goldblum, Larry Wilmore, Patton Oswalt, Nick Offerman and others. Elle King will sit in with Colbert’s band all night, and also perform one of her songs at the end of the show. It’s not clear what Katy, a staunch Hillary Clinton supporter, will be doing on the show.
The show will feature Colbert reacting in real time to the state-by-state election results as they come in. It’ll air live from New York’s Ed Sullivan Theater, which is where he does his day job on CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
In fact, if you don’t have Showtime, an edited version of the special will air this Friday on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
