Demi Lovato is cheating on her solo career — by recording a collaboration with electronic pop trio Cheat Codes.
Demi and Cheat Codes have just released a new single, “No Promises,” which features vocals by Demi and the group’s Trevor Dahl.
In a statement, Cheat Codes says, “’No Promises’ is a concept we’ve been thinking on for a while now…the idea that we don’t own the people in our relationships. Nothing’s guaranteed. Give people the space to be the best versions of themselves and THEN, come together.”
According to the group, Demi was the first artist they thought of for the track. “We’re blessed it was able to work out the way it did!” they say. “She sounds amazing on it!”
Demi says, “Collaborating with Cheat Codes was so much fun. I can’t wait to see what everyone thinks!”
Cheat Codes will hit the road this summer on their No Promises world tour, which will feature appearances at festivals like Lollapalooza and the Hangout Festival.
